Self generated Power Supply
The First Cement plant in the Country to run entirely on Green Energy. SKCIL has an installed Capacity of 40 MW Solar Power plant at Koppal Karnataka. Built at a cost of 250 crs. This ensures continuous Power supply to the Cement Plant.

ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT (OPC)
It is the most Popular, Pure and commonly used Cement. OPC is available in Grade 33, Grade 43 & Grade 53, as per the 28 day Compressive strength properties. Its application are in Construction of Heavy Industrial Structures, Irrigation Projects, Dams, High load bearing Structures, corrosion resistant Structures, Roads, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC), Bridges, Multi storey Structures etc.
PORTLAND POZZOLONA CEMENT (PPC)
PPC is a type of blended cement combining OPC with refined Coal Fly ash in a Computer controlled and Homogeneous mixing process. PPC is more resistant to Sulphate attacks. It has better workability and is less expensive. Its Applications are for Projects where Durability and resistance to Sulphate attacks is a prime objective. PPC contributes towards more durable and long lasting Structures.
PORTLAND SLAG CEMENT (PSC)
PSC is a type of blended cement combining OPC with granulated blast furnace Slag in a Computer controlled and Homogeneous mixing process. It has a slower ‘setting time’ than OPC. Due to which PSC is less likely to crack in Hot weather. Also it is more resistant to Sulphate attacks. These qualities make it a good choice in Marine applications, Mass concreting, Precast Concrete Products, Concrete repairs. PSC contributes towards more durable and long lasting Structures.
